Going Downtown on the Alone Train

At times a man feels lonely,
when there’s no one else around.
It’s then that thoughts do swirl with lust,
and all that comes around.

All aboard! Conductor says,
the voice a quiet rasp.
I cannot help but tighten on
that little fellow’s grasp.

It starts the way that most things do,
first slowly, then more quick.
By now you must agree with me,
unless you are that thick.

A tug’n and a pull’n are
the motions of the day.
Although I wish for options,
there is little else to say.

The train is pulling out the yard,
it is the only way.
For tickets on the lonely train,
you do not have to pay.
