In deeper forests of this world,
Where trees are tall and trunks are curled,
A solitary watcher strives,
To keep the woods and mind his wives.

Jubilant and hearty fellow,
Friend of Mother Earth.
Passersby may carry on,
If they can prove their worth.

So swap your shoes and turn your hat,
For such appeases him as that,
And if you come across his path,
Be prepared to make him laugh.

Alas not all are meant to see,
The fae realm, so its said.
Be weary lonely traveller,
He’ll tickle you till dead.

Mischievous, he’ll lead astray,
Don’t stop to ask, be on your way,
Ignore what talking mushrooms say,
That’s when old Leshi is at play.
