Poem

The Book Of Empty Pages

Have you heard of the Book With Empty Pages
Have you heard of the dark room?
It was written by archaic sages
They say it predicts your doom.
Have you heard of its ruthless acts
When into its pit you descend?
Do you know how you’ll react
When your life comes to end?
It is said in it there’s no joy
When you wear the hallow crown
Others say you the innocent boy
Is loved by everyone in town.
Have you thought how you’ll live there
When the grim reaper arrives?
When nature calls and you can’t hear
Will in its pages you ever survive.
Or with death you’ll be cursed
Within chapter, page and verse.

ORIGINAL VERSION

Have you heard of the book with empty pages?
Have you heard about the dark room?
Have you heard of its many languages?
Have you heard of its gloom?
Have you heard of its ruthless act?
When into that pit you descend?
Did you know how you’ll react?
When there you meet your friend?
Many said in it there’s no joy
When you wear that hollow crown
Others said you’ll be like an innocent boy
Who’s loved by everyone in his town
But have you thought of how you’ll live there?
When the nature call you hear?
